Pu'uhonua O Honaunau annual cultural festival 2013

Every year towards the end of June, the National Park of Pu'uhonua O Honaunau puts on a cultural festival.  If you are ever on the Big Island this time of year, this festival is well worth attending.  There are Native Hawaiian crafts that you can learn to do yourself.  They have canoe rides one day and authentic Hawaiian food another day.  The festival is always 2 days, a Saturday and a Sunday.  This park is a very special place every day and is a very important part of Hawaiian history. The festival is very authentic and it is free.
